Astoria Film Festival INTERNS & FILM FELLOWS

Astoria Film Festival Intern programs are 6-week programs held in the Fall - Winter - Spring and Summer through partnerships with specific HS's and colleges and/or community centers.  If your school or center is interested in having its students participate in our internship programs, please contact us at astoriafilmfestival at gmail.com.  Interns work on a variety of projects, from remote work creating social media content and editing video and films to in-person work as Production Assistants on our AFFProduction film shoots and our .Film Workshop film shoots.

The Astoria Film Festival Film Fellows Program is a Workforce Development Program that provides HS and College Students interested in film/tv/digital media production real- world work experience, training, and industry mentors. Our goal is to promote access and develop pathways for emerging talent, diverse voices, and underrepresented youth to explore careers in the film/tv/digital media fields.

Fellows usually have worked with us as Interns and were invited to continue working with us, in a more leadership capacity, on various AFFProductions projects and in our Film Workshops.
