Astoria Film Festival Productions
Astoria Film Festival Productions brings real-life film, video, and multimedia production work experiences to High School and College students interested in film and media careers throughout NYC.
AFFSocial provides social media content creation, and social media management at affordable prices to local businesses while also providing real-life, paid work experiences to local youth interested in social media careers.
Both are youth-led and pay young filmmakers to create original media for actual clients. During their time with AFF, our Interns and Film Fellows gain valuable experience by working on a variety of projects with our ED.
Our ED is an entertainment/digital media/video production veteran with over 25 years of experience creating marketing/branding/entertainment content. She also brings in specialists as needed to guide our students through the projects.
The internship placements are a result of our partnerships during the school year with Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens, Bryant HS, the High School of Art & Design CTE Film program, LaGuardia Community College, and the CUNY LEADS program at Queensborough Community College, York College, and Kingsborough Community College.
