Astoria Film Festival Studio
AFFProductions and AFFSocial have now been combined into AFFStudio.
AFFStudio provides film and video production and social media content creation/management services at affordable prices to local businesses, while also providing real-life, paid work experiences to local youth interested in production and social media careers.
AFFStudio pays young filmmakers to create original media for actual clients. During their time with AFF, youth gain valuable experience by working on a variety of projects with our ED. AFFStudio Fellows participate in these projects as designers, writers, video editors, directors, camera operators, ADs, gaffers, and sound mixers. Studio Fellows are comprised of former Lab Fellows as well as festival filmmakers, who have been invited to work with us.
Our ED is an entertainment/digital media/video production veteran with over 25 years of experience creating marketing/branding/entertainment content. She also brings in specialists as needed to guide our students through the projects.
