Senior Filmmaking Workshops
We provide an intergenerational filmmaking workshop where young filmmakers interview local seniors while also teaching interested youth and seniors the process of filmmaking.
The goal is to capture seniors’ stories and promote multi-generational community interactions.
“Halmeoni” is a short doc film where our Lab Fellows and our staff are helping tell the story of a Queens woman who escaped North Korea in her youth. (currently in production)
